Privacy Policy

GlobeTrotter collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us, because the app has no server to send it to.
What the app stores
Everything the app saves stays on your device:
- Your quiz scores — how many flag and capital questions you answered correctly and incorrectly, and how many questions you've answered in total.
- Your appearance choice (System, Light or Dark).
- Whether you've unlocked the full version.
That's the complete list. The app has no other data about you: no name, no email address, no contacts, no photos, no identifiers.
iCloud sync
Your quiz scores sync between devices signed in to the same Apple Account, using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. That transfer happens between your devices and Apple — we have no access to it and cannot read your scores. Apple's handling of it is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
To stop syncing, turn iCloud off for GlobeTrotter in Settings on your device.
Purchases
The full version is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details or your Apple Account. The app only records on your own device whether the unlock is active.
Maps
Country locations are shown using Apple Maps. Displaying a map means Apple receives the request that draws it, as described in Apple's privacy policy. The app never asks for your location and never uses it — it only knows the fixed coordinates of countries, which ship inside the app.
No tracking, no third parties
GlobeTrotter contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind, and no third-party code libraries. Nothing about you is shared with anyone, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because no personal data is collected from anyone, none is collected from children either.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device. If you've unlocked the full version, you can also reset your scores from the progress screen inside the app. Restoring the purchase later is always free.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
